Please note: As of December 2008. the price of land in Tiruvannamalai has reached very high levels. Agents are now asking up to 125 lakhs per acre for land within 4km of the town, 35-45 lakhs up to 7km and 10-15 lakhs up to 15km. Housing plots close to Sri Ramanasramam are being sold for 15-95 lakhs. Perhaps the current worldwide financial crisis might bring some reality to the situation.
